Two founders. Two cities. The same frustration lived every morning. Weego was born from one simple observation: getting around in Africa should not be this hard.
Millions of people lose hours every day not because vehicles are missing, but because there is no reliable system to connect them. No information. No visibility. No predictability. We lived that gap. And we could not stand by.
Our story
Saad is from Casablanca. Mor is from Dakar. In both cities, we grew up with the same reality: transport determines everything else. Which jobs you can reach. Which schools you can send your kids to. What is left of your day once the commute is subtracted. We did not build Weego to disrupt anything. We built it because we saw people wake up at 5am not by choice, but because they had no idea if their bus would show up. Drivers working hard without a single proper tool. Parents anxious, with no news of their children for hours. Our belief from day one: put a simple, reliable platform in the middle of all that, and you can change something real in people's lives. The Weego app is our number one priority. WeegoLines and WeegoPro are the solutions we built for companies and schools, but everything starts from the same place: the daily lives of people trying to get around in our cities.

What drives us
We did not agree on values in a conference room. They emerged from the field, from rider feedback, from conversations with drivers, from the mistakes we made.
Not for pitch decks. Every feature we ship has to improve someone's actual day: the cashier waiting for her bus, the manager running a fleet, the parent wondering if their child arrived. If it does not, it does not ship.
African cities do not look like anywhere else. They have their own rhythm, their own operators, their own constraints. We do not import solutions from elsewhere. We build from what we know, what we have lived, what we have observed on the ground.
Transport in Africa runs because thousands of operators do a hard job every day. Our role is not to replace them. It is to give them the tools they deserve, so the whole system works better for everyone.
We do not wait until everything is perfect before shipping. We go out, we observe, we adjust. The real lessons do not come from offices: they come from bus stops, conversations with drivers, and feedback from riders who tried something and told us what did not work.
