The retention period for personal data by Weego depends on the purpose for which it was collected and user preferences. In general, data is retained for as long as it is necessary. After this period, it will be deleted or anonymized.
Contact information: Retained as long as the user maintains their Weego account. If the user closes their account, their contact details will be deleted.
Payment information: Stored for a limited period to comply with financial regulations and prevent fraudulent activity.
Location data: Stored for a limited period to improve the performance of the Weego application and provide relevant transport recommendations.
Transport history: Stored for a limited period to provide a personalized experience, then deleted or anonymized.
